Dear Church Family,
Christmas is a very special time of the year in which there is much excitement and anticipation of what gifts to buy for the people we love. Many of us have run from store to store looking for that perfect gift for all of those on our list.
Too often in the hustle and bustle of what is going on at this season, we forget the most important gift of all – The Lord Jesus Christ! – The Bible tells us in John 3:16:
For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
That is the wonderful truth that Jesus Christ came to earth to save us from our sins, and to die on an old rugged cross to be our Savior.
I know Christmas is a very special and exciting time at Northside. God has been so good, and I am so thankful for the many ways He has blessed us all, and how He has blessed our sweet fellowship.
I hope you don’t ever get tired of me saying this, but it is an honor and a privilege to be your pastor. Sharon and I love you ALL so much and we hope and pray you have a blessed, wonderful, Christmas!
